Utah is home to the most distinguished and inspiring dance educators. Our state is served by dance educators who are internationally and nationally renowned artists and educators. It is UDEO's privilege to honor and celebrate them!
UDEO Educator in Excellence Award
The UDEO Educator in Excellence Award is awarded each month to an outstanding dance educator in the state of Utah. These people demonstrate exemplary leadership, research, scholarship, artistry, and philanthropy or service to their students and the dance community.
Fill out the form below to nominate an educator who you would like to recognize. They will be featured on our UDEO instagram account, UDEO website, recognized at our Fall Conference and given a prize!
Nominees are considered for the following:
- Impact and contributions of lifetime achievements to the field of dance education.
- Advocacy for the field of dance and dance in education at the national and/or international level.
- Innovativeness of contributions to the arts and dance education.
- Recognition by peers as an influential figure in the dance or dance education communities.
NHSDA Artistic Merit, Leadership and Academic Achievement Award
The NHSDA Artistic Merit, Leadership and Academic Achievement Award is an annual award that recognizes the accomplishments of Junior and Senior NHSDA inductees.
