$100 per School and $8 per student
UDEO, in partnership with Repertory Dance Theatre, hosts the Junior High Day of Dance at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center in Salt Lake City each February. Middle school and junior high school students enjoy master classes taught by the RDT dancers including modern dance technique, improvisation, and composition. The day concludes with a final showing of the pieces created during the composition session.
The UDEO and RDT Jr. High Day of Dance supports teachers and public school dance programs by offering instruction centered around the State Dance Standards and providing opportunities for students to create, perform, respond, and connect through dance.
The cost of the Jr. High Day of Dance is $100 dollars per school as a non-refundable deposit plus $8 per student. Teachers also need to be a current member of NDEO and/or UDEO. Contact Sean Guymon - membership@udeo.org for membership information.

*Bring a sack lunch. Be aware that there will be no refrigeration available to store food. Pack accordingly.
*Lunchtime may be a good opportunity for teachers to get together to discuss and share ideas. Come with thoughts and questions about classroom success or lesson plan ideas, strategies or we can brainstorm.
